My Name is Lorie-Anne Nevers, I was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica which is a very important part of my life, that has shaped me to be who I am today, and many of my inspirations come from this wonderful island. I am currently a senior at Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta studying Fashion Marketing and Management. Fashion has always been an interest of mine and it is an industry that I am very passionate about. My main focus is surrounding the business of fashion, I love knowing what goes on behind the scenes of this innovative, always changing industry. Throughout my studies and work experiences I have gained experience in various areas within fashion industry, such as fashion industry marketing, trend forecasting, branding, product development, global sourcing and visual merchandising.
I think of myself as having not only a business oriented mind but also a creative one. Fashion to me is a lifestyle not only including apparel and accessories but also home, cars and travel. My goal is not to be be put in a box, I want to learn more and experience all parts of the industry because there is so much to discover and I cannot wait to start making a positive impact on the industry.
